Hi,

I'm new to Cognos 8 and have been a past user of cognos 7. 

The problem is being how to schedule the report to save to a directory, for example in d:\bidus\sample\ ; it only seems to allow me to save into a directory folder within cognos but not to a isolated folder

 if you want to save the reports in cognos 8,
first you have to decide where you want to save i.e.in public folders or my folders.
Then after you need to create a folder with in public or My Folders.
click on save button in reoprt,it will ask the path...then save it which path u needs.
