Hi all,

Data Warehousing is a having a very good market in the IT field, because a Data Warehouse mirrors the company's entire information infrastructure.

My Suggestion for anybody who are taking a step in this,
In ETL tools, as we are having Informatica, Datastage, Ab-Initio, Microsoft's DTS/SSIS, etc.,

IBM Ascential DataStage is the easiest tool to learn as it is not very complex.
But compared to Informatica and Ab-Initio, this was not having that much of popularity and these two are big oceans to learn, But they are not so difficult to learn.

Those are my thoughts about ETL tools.

Coming to Reporting side, its better to go for Business objects or Cognos. You can choose the Crystal Reports.

And one more thing, Now-a-days, there is a huge market for Microstrategy and SAS tools also.
