Can anyone pls explain the Parameter File content structure, how to pass paramter values from parameter FILE?

i know how to create parameter in Designer and in Session i can see that parameter file option (where we have to give parameter file path).

But i am not able to understand the parameter file value structure meaning inside parameter file there are some standard (ie) start like foldername:then session name something there. anonther one i could see..$DBCONNECTION_SRC this kind of values we are giving in paramter file.

Can anyone explain parameter content structure with an example?? Incase anyone is having some document pls share with me. my mail id : <<removed>>
