What is Service Oriented Architecture(SOA)? How it is different from the architectures in earlier versions of Informatica?

SOA is one of the new feature of Informatica 8x series. Grin

Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) provides the ability to scale services and share resources across multiple machines.
In order to maintain these distributed services, Domain concept got introduced.

Domian is a collection of nodes and services and can be managed thru Admin console.
