Hi,
Can any of you describe the major difference between an
Index
and a
Materialized View
?
On what basis, these two objects can be differentiated?
This Question was asked a great recruiter...!

Dear...!
I hope the recruiter forced you to answer this question...!
There is way to differentiate between an Index and Materialized view.
A
Materialized View
can be accessed directly by using a SELECT statement where as an
Index
can't be done..!
Hope this is the right way to be answered.
