Hi friends,

What are different Datatypes available in PL/SQL?
Is there any difference between oracle datatypes and PL/SQL datatypes?

Please mention different categories of Datatypes also (PL/SQL)?

PL/SQL datatypes are classified as Scalar Datatypes and Composite Datatypes.

Scalar Datatypes
  • Number
  • Char
  • Varchar2
  • Date
  • Long
  • Boolean

Composite Datatypes
  • Record
  • Table

These are the different datatypes in PL/SQL (that I know)
