Hi,

Am an SQL developer having 2 years of IT experience. I have done OCP certification in Oracle but am somehow not interested in a DBA profile. I want to have a career in BI. Could anyone let me know which option is the best for me in BI. After some initial research, in my understanding either BO or OBIEE are better. Please give your inputs regarding this.

Hey Sandy/Aspirer,

Good to see you in the Forum..! Smiley

As a test engineer, you can switch your technology either to ETL or reporting in Data Ware3shousing..!

At reporting end, you can get knowledge in BO, Cognos, OBIEE, Hyperion and Microstrategy which have lots of Job opportunities and coming to ETL side, Informatica, Datastage, Ab-initio are the vast job getting tools.

There's a lot of training centers, but as the faculty keeps on hopping, better to take up a sample session and then finalize which can be the best..

All the best..!
