I am a Beginner/learner in Hyperion.

Currently I am doing budgeting & forecasting in Pillar and I want this to be copied to Essbase.
The actual figures are captured in SAP R/3 4.5B and extracted into Essbase as well. Now I want to extract the actuals from Essbase and upload them into Pillar for comparision purposes when doing rolling forecasts.

The data detail level is different between Essbase and Pillar.

Essbase it is per account, and for Pillar per group of accounts.

My other Questions:
  • Can anybody help in data extraction from Essbase to Pillar?
  • Do you know what the file format would look like?
  • Is there an way to do it, allowing Hyperion to handle all the conversions?
