The latest version of the Cognos is 8.6. please search <<Cognos 8.6 Report Studio>> user Guide in google. you will get all details about report studio. I want to introduce about new topic i.e Analysis studio.i think max of people will be work on report studio only.am also new for analysis studio.am also in leaning stage.so now i can start with analysis studio.

1.What is Analysis Studio?

There is no satandard specification mathodology for running the reports.that will be depends on requirement.

 if you want to save the reports in cognos 8,
first you have to decide where you want to save i.e.in public folders or my folders.
Then after you need to create a folder with in public or My Folders.
click on save button in reoprt,it will ask the path...then save it which path u needs.
